What happens to the baby?

This week your baby is about 46 cm long and weighs more than 2 kg. His/her hair also grows – it becomes longer and thicker. The colour of his/her delicate hair will be substantially changed after the birth – it will become either darker, or brighter. His/her nails have also grown – so much that he/she could scrabble you.

The movements of the baby have also changed significantly. During this week the recent imp has become calmer and instead of swimming inside your womb, he/she takes a rest.

What happens to you?

If you see that your sight has become weaker, do not worry. The same applies to the dryness in your eyes, as well as to the decreased secretion of tears. This is all due to the hormonal changes that affect your body during the pregnancy for the last time.

You have another reason to blame the hormones – the increased vaginal secretion. The estrogen accelerates the inflow of blood to the pelvic area and thus stimulates the vaginal secretion.

This week you should ...

Increase the calcium – The baby gets the calcium he/she needs for the formation his/her bones from you. This is why you should eat more dairy products or nutritional supplements.

Make a list – Some of the most important things on the list are: ID card and exchange card, hospitalization referral, documents and results from the test you have undergone, breast-feeding bras, breast wipes, Nutri-Calming Nipple Balm.

Pack for the maternity hospital – From this week on, you can deliver at any time. If you are ready with the most needed things in advance, you will manage to get ready to start for the hospital more quickly.
